Good Intentions is a story-based action game set in the time of heroic musketeers and evil villains in the 17th century.
The gameplay follows the story of Marc Lacroix, a righteous blacksmith and loving father who tries to find his abducted family.
On his journey to rescue his beloved family, he uncovers a conspiracy that threatens the king’s life, making Lacroixa very important person in this incident.
Will he be able to save his family and the king?

For this project the focus of my contract work was designing levels. I worked closely together with the game designer to make sure the levels fit to the story and quests. Good Intentions is a 2D action game and the levels were built with tilesets which I really enjoyed. When I was done with level design I took variety of tasks like gameplay testing, bug fixing and polishing.
